Mai Ngoc, Medical student of University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh got the scholarship for "Share for Life" Course of "Genius Upskill Scholarship" program season 2018. And here is her story -
"My keyword is PROACTIVE.
Step 1. Proactive in searching information: I read the content on website carefully, and the questions in application form. Honestly, at first time I just finished the personal information questions, then moved to next steps and closed ^^ cuz I thought I need more time to brainstorm.
Step 2. Proactive in understand myself: I thought about my schedule, how could I manage my time if I had chance to attend the program. I noted the questions, chose a flexible morning and completed the application form by sharing my own story.
Step 3. Proactive in the interview. When I received the invitation email, it took me hours for checking my schedule and choosing the best time for me. After sending the confirmation, I took time to look through the project: from the content to the schedule and KPIs. 1 day before the interview, I checked my CV again and searched for the location. At that day, I came early and called the supporter to confirm my attendance. Finally, my plan was successful and I got selected for this scholarship ^^"
Thu Hang, Medical student of University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh got the scholarship for "Share for Life" Course of "Genius Upskill Scholarship" program season 2018. And here is her story -
"Because I believe in myself! As well as I believe in us, that we can do it, we can do something new to create a change in our life today, like think and do out of box. Beside that, I always bear in mind that our country is still poor, many children, people needs the helping of medicine everyday, think about their needs, so I need improve my knowledge, my skill to be one of the leaders that change the tendency from treating to preventing diseases, and give our children the best environment to grow up healthily".
Thanh Dung, Medical student of Vietnam National University at Ho Chi Minh got the scholarship for "Share for Life" Course of "Genius Upskill Scholarship" program season 2018. And here is her story -
"Firstly, find more information about contents relevant to program.
Secondly, you will introduce about yourself so tell about your strengths,the special ones, don't worry if you don't have good english or good soft skill, you can improve and upgrade it when you take part in and don't forget to talk about your weaknesses also because be honest will made a deep impression if you know how to tell.
Thirdly, be confident and dare to express your own opinion about the program, which one you want to learn and focus. The last but not least is try to be creative in your performance and all your answers."
